Eric Ayomah is a first-generation student. His parent sold all their cattle to support his education pursuit for a nursing degree at college of nursery and midwifery at Nalerigu, in Northern Ghana.  Eric parents exhausted their resources to support him. He has to travel to some remote area in part of Ghana to engage in income generating activity including galamsey, a local Ghanaian term which means illegal small-scale gold mining in Ghana. The little money earned is used to pay for his tuition and fees. Sabu Help International sponsored his education to enabled her to work herself out of poverty and achieved self-independence.
